The Biotechnology Lab, located in the Advanced Biotechnology Center (C.B.A. , scientific institute in partnership between the Hospital, Scientific Tumore Institute and the University of Genoa), specializes in micro-biological analysis and in biotechnological fermentation, productions and treatments;
The lab occupies about 350 square meters; it's environment satisfies the international and european regulations for biological and biotechnological research activities.
It has been authorized by the Italian Health Administer to perform industrial operations with genetically modified microorganisms group I.
